Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 — effective 25 September 2026

MXplorer Pro is a tool that works offline. The most important point in this document fits in one sentence: the financial messages you analyse are never sent to the publisher.

One practical consequence: if you lose your vault password, nobody can recover it for you.

3. Data we actually process

Trial request and download

Data: email address.
Purpose: to send you the Discover edition download link and, where applicable, product updates.
Legal basis: your consent, and the pre-contractual steps you request.
Retention: until you unsubscribe, and at most three years after your last contact.

Subscription purchase

Data: name, email address, country, billing details, VAT number where applicable, order history.
Purpose: to issue your licence and handle billing, renewals and support.
Legal basis: performance of the contract, and compliance with accounting and tax obligations.
Retention: for the term of the subscription, then for the accounting retention period required by applicable law.

Card details are never passed to the publisher. They are entered directly with Paddle and stay with Paddle. The publisher sees no card number, no expiry date and no security code.

Support

Data: the content of your exchanges with support, and anything you choose to attach.
Purpose: to handle your request.
Legal basis: performance of the contract.
Retention: three years after the request is closed.

If you attach a real financial message to a support request, you are sharing it with us voluntarily. We recommend anonymising it first.

Visiting the site

The marketing site sets no advertising cookies and no analytics trackers. The host keeps technical connection logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) for security and operational purposes, for a limited period.

Typefaces are served from our own domain. No request is made to any third-party service when you visit, so no IP address is disclosed to a third party as a result of browsing this site.

4. Recipients

• Paddle.com Market Limited — Merchant of Record: payment, invoicing, subscription management and tax. See Paddle's privacy policy.
• Website host — Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which hosts the site and keeps technical connection logs.
• Email delivery provider — Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), for delivering download links and licence keys.

No data is sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

The publisher is established in the Union of the Comoros and some providers are located outside the EEA. Where data subject to the GDPR is transferred, those transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses agreed with the providers concerned.

6. Your rights

If the GDPR or an equivalent law applies to you, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time.

Write to contact@mxplorerpro.com and you will receive a reply within thirty days. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

For data held by Paddle as Merchant of Record, you can exercise your rights with Paddle directly.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. The software's vault uses encryption performed on your own machine, with the key derived from your password; that password is never transmitted or stored in the clear. Licence keys are cryptographically signed, so they can be verified offline without any server call.

8. Children

MXplorer Pro is intended for professional use. The product is not directed at people under sixteen, and no data is knowingly collected from them.

9. Changes

Any material change to this policy is notified by email to active subscribers, and the version date at the top of this page is updated.
